Obituary of Ann McKiernan of Cleveland, Ohio

Came across this on Ancestry, the obituary of Ann McKiernan of 419 E. 147th Street, Cleveland, Ohio. Ann died at the home of her daughter Mrs William Cregan in September 1945. Ann's maiden name was Finn and she was a cousin of my great-great grandfather Thomas Finn and his brother James Finn (Ian Payne's g-g-grandfather). Ann was married to Thomas Mckiernan, they emigrated to Cleveland from Birmingham in the second decade of the 1900s.

Mrs. Ann McKiernan died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Cregan, 419 E. 147th Street.

She and her late husband, Thomas P
. McKiernan, came to Cleveland from Birmingham, England.

Surviving her are four sons, Thomas, John, Edward and Bernard; four daughters, Mrs. Cregan, Mrs. Kathryn Whalen, Mrs. Mary Duncan and Sister Marie Nativa of the Order of the Humility of Mary, and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jerome's Catholic Church with Rev. John P. Cregan of St. John's Cathedral, a brother-in-law of Mrs. Cregan, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemtery
